Hempstash Shipment Terms
1. European Shipping Coverage
Hempstash proudly ships throughout Europe, including all European Union member states, Schengen Area countries, and the United Kingdom.
We work with trusted logistics partners to provide fast, secure, and discreet deliveries across Europe. Most orders are dispatched within 24 hours and are typically delivered within 2 business days, depending on destination and local carrier performance.
While we offer extensive European coverage, Hempstash reserves the right to refuse, delay, or cancel shipments to any destination where legal, regulatory, customs, or compliance concerns may arise.
2. Product Compliance and Local Regulations
Laws relating to CBD, hemp products, cannabinoids, extracts, flowers, oils, and related products vary between countries and may change without notice.
Although Hempstash continuously monitors regulatory developments throughout Europe, customers remain solely responsible for ensuring that the products they order are permitted in their destination country, region, or jurisdiction.
Hempstash shall not be responsible for customs actions, legal changes, differing regulatory interpretations, or government decisions affecting delivery.
3. Fully Insured European Deliveries
All Hempstash shipments within Europe are sent with comprehensive transport insurance included as standard.
This insurance protects the full value of the shipment against loss, theft, or damage during transport, subject to carrier verification and claim approval.
If an insured shipment is confirmed as lost, stolen, or irreparably damaged while in transit, Hempstash will, at its sole discretion:
- Replace the entire order; or
- Provide compensation equivalent to the value of the affected shipment.
This coverage applies only when all shipping and insurance requirements have been fulfilled and the carrier confirms the claim.
4. United Kingdom Shipments
Due to additional customs procedures and import-related risks associated with shipments entering the United Kingdom, Hempstash may apply a mandatory or optional insurance surcharge of 15% of the order value.
Where a UK customer declines shipment insurance (if such option is offered), the customer expressly agrees that:
- Hempstash bears no responsibility for parcels lost, damaged, delayed, confiscated, seized, destroyed, or otherwise withheld by customs or authorities.
- No refund will be issued.
- No replacement shipment will be provided.
- No credit or compensation will be granted.
By proceeding without insurance, the customer accepts all transportation, customs, and delivery risks.
Where shipment insurance has been purchased and paid for, Hempstash will work with the carrier and insurer to either replace the entire order or provide compensation following approval of the insurance claim.
5. Transfer of Risk
Risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer once the goods have been handed to the courier, freight carrier, or logistics provider.
However, where shipment insurance applies, Hempstash will assist customers in resolving claims and obtaining replacement or compensation in accordance with the insurance coverage.
6. Customs, Duties and Seizures
Customers are solely responsible for any import duties, taxes, customs charges, permits, licences, or documentation required by their destination country.
Hempstash shall not be liable for:
- Customs inspections
- Border delays
- Import restrictions
- Government actions
- Product confiscations or seizures
- Additional duties or taxes imposed by authorities
Customers ordering products internationally do so at their own risk and responsibility.
7. Inspection and Claims
Customers must inspect all deliveries immediately upon receipt.
Claims relating to visible shortages or damage must be reported within 7 calendar days of delivery.
Claims relating to concealed damage must be submitted within 14 calendar days of delivery.
Claims submitted after these periods may be rejected.
8. Delays in Transit
Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Hempstash shall not be liable for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, weather conditions, public holidays, transportation disruptions, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hempstash shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits
- Loss of business opportunities
- Loss of revenue
- Loss of contracts
- Reputational damage
Any liability accepted by Hempstash shall be limited to the value recoverable under the applicable insurance policy or carrier compensation arrangement.
